Fair enough, He looked a good player for us last season when he played. A shame he couldn't get fit.

Shame, for all the pisstaking on here about his injuries he could have made a difference last season not only as a fb but his ability to get in crosses. Even if he'd just played 50-60% of games.

Good luck to him, thought it was a good move for him to try and prove himself to repay his lack of games last year in pre-season this year. Obviously didn't work or MM was unwilling to take the risk.

Eastleigh complete Dodd signing
Conference South side Eastleigh have clinched the signing of former Southampton and Brighton defender Jason Dodd, reports BBC Radio Solent.
The 35-year-old joined Brighton in June 2005 after spending 16 years playing for the Saints.

He played only seven games for the Seagulls because of injury before leaving the Withdean Stadium at the end of last season.

Eastleigh will unveil Dodd before Saturday's friendly with Southampton.
