Very positive so far given how long FH has had with the group, the conditions and the missing players. Loving the speed of transition, Minteh looks a right handful (lovely finish), Moran and Samuels doing OK and Baleba in beast mode. Also happy seeing Milner jog about in midfield dictating things - exactly how he should be used.

This looks extremely exciting for an early pre-season game, doesn’t it! Many of the youngsters look so promising. Osman’s strength is impressive. Young Van Hecke a seasoned pro.

- It's only 1-0 and we're not blowing them away or anything

But I really like how we are trying to play. Bodes well for an entertaining season, however successful it ends up being.
