Don’t worry, pre-season games are usually best avoided anyway.

Would have thought it would be hard for fans to arrange streaming of the friendlies without the clubs involvement

Don't know about the game coverage, but I have been watching the coverage of the team in Japan and can't stop thinking about how much that must all cost and how far we have come since near obliteration.

Presumably it'll be at silly-o-clock anyway over here. What are they, 8 hours ahead ? I don't think I'll be getting up at 3 or 4am to fish around for a moody stream to see our ressies against the Yamaha Triads.

Yep, it's reasonable in the UK, I think the two matches kick-off at 11am and 10:30am.
Not so much for me - 3am and 2:30am. I'm hoping they will be on a TV channel so I can record them (or if they are streamed, there is a way to watch them after the event).

It's the humidity in Japan that people who haven't experienced it don't appreciate. People from all around the world are taken aback at how hot Japanese summers are.

Very much so. Wouldn't be surprised if we get stuffed on Wednesday. It's crazy hot today.
San Frecce fan here. When I first moved here we were in the 4th tier, and I thought the J league was pretty decent, nice and tidy play.
Didn't go for a few years, in the mean time we become a premier league side. Been a couple of times recently to j league games and am now in the, Hmmm, it's a bit poor camp.

Yeah I agree.
It is all very Brentish, but that's the norm.
The Arsenal Documentary showed Arteta to be incredibly cringe, but the players expect it.
Not Brentish for me. There's clarity in laying out what you expect. That's always a good thing.
And with an audience with a "wide range of comprehension", you need to keep it simple and repeat it often.
I do agree though, he is pushing on an open door with the Albion squad and he says "guys" a lot.

I think they might help themselves a bit there,... The delivery might be but I liked the bit about being positive and being a good team mate.
Sometimes you see players on the pitch moaning at each other and having a go after making a mistake, which I always thought was a bit stupid and would make it worse, especially if it’s one of the younger players.
I remember Milner, Gross and Welbeck moaning at folk last year, so I hope Milner at least was paying attention.
