I expect nothing, but would love to see us find a way to bring in a striker. Given Liverpool have more defensive problems I wonder if they could break the bank to bring in White, freeing up cash... I would even be tempted to try to loan someone like Tosun

Also thought about the Pool thing... any Brighton central defender including Dan Burn would make them stronger at this point. But they are not bathing in money and unlike some other top teams they dont have infinite resources.

Pretty happy with the strikers. Maupay, Welbeck and Connolly are all decent PL strikers and while I would love to see someone who is a level above them, I cant really see who would be both a realistic signing and a likely improvement. Tosun cant do anything Maupay/Connolly/Welbeck cant do.

I’m praying for some kind of loan with the option to make permanent in the summer deal on a striker... maybe that could work if funds are short now. Wishful thinking though.

Shame we were not interested in Joshua Zirkzee from Bayern. Apparently he is going to Parma on loan with option to buy for 15 M. Also Everton tried to sign him but somehow Parma won this race (first squad guarantee?). He looks like a striker we don't have. 6 ft 4 in tall poacher with great technique and FINISHING. Yes, he is still really young and unexperienced but everytime he got a chance in Bayern was playing really good. Also seems like a good deal.

Zequiri is not ready for PL + Welbeck and Connolly injury proneness = It's only Maupay cause Trossard and Tau are not a strikers in my opinion, also Andone is a huge questionmark

Hmmm... seems that West Brom have got in one of our alleged striker targets. And Palace too. Seems like those clubs are trying to improve despite the disastrous financial climate.

Tau and Tross are DEFINITELY NOT strikers. Potter claiming they are is utter nonsense
