no news and you would think that the weather might slow things down
Get Lee Barnard in, Southend are struggling for money. Barnard is out of contract at the end of the season, so offer MONEY for him NOW
Strikers win you games, lets get loads of them in. Forster isnt getting younger, Murray is the will he/wont he stay bloke, Dickinson doesnt score enough. Do it. At least Barnard is a sellable asset
I'm hoping Poyet dips into the foreign market

Further League One transfers -
Jan 5 - Liam Trotter - Ipswich Town to Millwall - Loan
Jan 5 - Chris Zebroski - Torquay United to Wycombe Wanderers - Undisclosed
Jan 5 - Joe Gamble - Cork to Hartlepool United - Undisclosed
How boring...
Chris Zebroski didn't play against us for Torquay. He looks to have been onloan at Wycombe last season (and part of this).
Not one friggin' amount shown. Damn you undisclosed bullshit :US:
Im fairly sure Zebroski came on as a sub against us a couple of months back at Withdean?
Monkhouse from Hartlepool
Ben Davies from Notts County
Chris Dagnall from Rochdale
That would be an attacking central mid, a left sided winger and a striker. Three quality signings.
Jan 5 - Joe Gamble - Cork to Hartlepool United - Undisclosed
Monkhouse replacement
would be a bit of a gamble

Morecambe defender Laurence Wilson is rumoured to be a target for Brighton and Hove Albion during the January transfer window. Wilson, 23, was previously on the books at Everton and has played for England at all youth levels up to and including under-19. Signed by Morecambe in July 2009, Wilson has impressed at left back and was shortlisted for the Coca-cola player of the month in November. Despite having disappointing spells at Mansfield and Chester, Wilson is seen in some quarters as the answer to Brighton's defensive problems.

Rotherham striker Adam Le Fondre was today highlighted as a potential target for Brighton boss Gus Poyet, after netting 14 times in 20 appearances since his £100,000 move from Rochdale in the summer. Adam, or "Alfie" as he is known, has attracted interest from Peterborough who had a £400,000 bid turned down, with speculation that Derby and Leeds Utd are also interested. Poyet is believed to have a £4m warchest and is expected to enter the bidding soon.
