Did some amazing things, any healthy person who did what she did would suffer - God knows what she went through.

How she is not a Dame in a time where you get honours for kicking a ball around is beyond me.

RIP

She was without a doubt the most inspirational Woman in the UK. True heroine. Rest in peace Jane you will NEVER be forgotten.

Obviously I never knew the woman but that story has made me feel very sad this morning. It's not often I find myself agreeing with anything Kinky says but he's right-she was worthy of a high honour, far more than so many who get honoured for nothing more than having celebrity status.

An inspirational woman who just on with things.

My Mother-In-Law has a very similar condition and she has been fighting it for nearly 3 years now, and the fact that Jane Tomlinson managed to last 7 years provides inspiration to those like my Mother In Law.

I agree with Kinky, what Jane did was much more of an achievement than beating the Aussies in 2005. God we live in a screwed up world.

RIP Jane

Your courage and determination really helped and inspired me in my fight against cancer and I'm sure many others across the country agree with me. Like has already been said it's a crying shame you weren't honoured more for your achievements, as it's people like you who really do make Britain great.

A very brave lady. An inspiration to everyone.

At least she leaves behind some great achievments that her family will always be proud of. My thoughts are with them.

there will be a minutes applause at elland road on saturday, her boy is a season ticket holder there. she didn't want a silence because "i never did anything quietly in my life"

I agree with every word. A remarkable woman who didn't give up her life without a struggle.
