BN De Stem is a local Breda paper. In the paper's original piece they are saying the rumour comes from "several well-informed sources", which could mean absolutely anything (or nothing) of course...

The Dutch piece says "Het akkoord tussen NAC met AS Monaco over Van Hecke van begin juni lijkt een zachte dood te sterven."

Meaning: "The agreement about Van Hecke between NAC Breda and AS Monaco from early June appears to have quietly died a death."
