SHOREHAM BY SEA
I am referring to both of those and the goal that he scored. They were all presentable chances for Haaland which would imply that he was not "in anyone's pocket". I'm not saying that we defended badly, I guess I'm just arguing semantics.
Oh i agree with you…i think the VH having Haaland in the pocket is a tad exaggerated…enjoyable though nonetheless :)

In some ways it was more like that in the match where Enciso scored a worldly …even then Haaland had a couple of chances…..but what i like about there duals is that VH doesnt let Haaland bully him….not sure the latter is used to that….hence him throwing a bit of a hissy fit near the end

But when VH got involved he made a some very good decisions, including playing BOU offside in that disallowed goal (- unfortunately returning the favour in the BOU goal in injury time.) Van Heck‘s professional foul was both cheeky and very useful too.

But yes, as I said during the match thread, the Cherries didn’t at anytime put us under too much threat despite an actively hard press for part of the first half even when we were pushed back with ten men in most of the second half and it definitely wasn’t their afternoon for finishing. Bart looking competent and composed but not too many serious questions asked of him.

That may or may not be true, but either way it has very little effect on Netherlands v Hungary

Oops - just noticed the date of the post I was replying too - thought it was referring to today’s game and that was obviously what I was talking about but my points still stand - a good solid game by both players today without being under too much pressure 🙄

Edit - Edited the other posters quote out of my post which was referring to the Hungary game to avoid confusion
