Shame they're SHITE in the Prem and are basically living of the Chumps League.
The sooner they finish outside the top 4 the better for English football.

How come its a ridiculous myth? It may be full of faults, foreigners, overpaid children, etc, but I'm afraid it is the best league in the world at the moment.

Can't agree with that at all
The best LEAGUES are those where it isn't dominated by a handful of teams.
Normally there's 4 teams in England that win everything and the league will, again, go to one of them. OK the FA Cup and the Carling Cup this year have been/will be won by different teams but I can't see that being anything but a blip.
It's depressing seeing those four at the top all the time and knowing that they have the money to stay at the top whereas other clubs are struggling to keep their heads above water.
The football is better in the Spanish league and even though that is dominated by Real and Barca I always get the feeling that there can be an upset - you don't get that with the Prenier League - well i don't anyway.
That's my opinion anyway

The French League was fantastic up to 2001. They had seven different winners over a period of nine years, until Lyon won six in a row!
Fair do's but I think that the Premiership is quite lucky in having as many as 4 teams capable of winning it. The Spanish league has been won by Barca or Real in 19 out of the last 23 years. God knows who the last team to win the Scottish league other than Celtic or Rangers was and the Italian league is only ever won by the team dishing out the largest backhanders (that doesn't get caught).
The premiership seems to be the place all the top players and managers want to be and 3 semi finalists in 2 succesive years in the Champions League is proving the point. The Spanish league is turning into what the premiership used to be, where the players living off their name head off to for one last paycheck.

I am looking at it from a slightly different perspective though. I would almost rather the Premier League were only capable of being won by one or maybe two clubs. Then, at least, there would be 18 clubs fighting it out rather than 16 or (and let's be completely realistic about this) the six or seven that could possibly get into the European places at the moment.
Being honest when you look at the new Premier League at the beginning of the season you can pick out the top four and you can normally pick out the bottom five or six and that is half the league gone.
Look at this season's Championship - as tight as the proverbial duck's arse at 40 fathoms and who could have predicted that Stoke and Bristol City would be up around the top ? Could you see Swansea topping our division ? But you can predict that it will be Man U, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal and virtually put your house on it - OK they may finish in a slightly different order each year but it's boring.
The Scottish league is the same - take away Celtic and Rangers and it would be quite interesting.
And what is the common denominator - well obviously it's the money that these clubs have to spread around and therein lies the real problem. Bring in a wage cap or make the teams play with a certain amount of home grown players and make the Prem League competitive again not a 4 horse race.
And, as for your perfectly valid point about the Premiership being where all the top players and managers want to be well, there again, is that not just because of the money aspect too ?
