Firstly, he is responsible for keeping us out of League Two. Secondly, I am not sure anyone has been relegated in October. Would you walk? He might not have your belief, but perhaps he still believes in himself. Still does not deserve that label.

Although I'm not one calling for Slades head, i can't help but think no matter who came in we would of got that kick up the arse and stayed up, but keep Slade.

Jamie would be the choice if he brought along his dad, otherwise its the worst suggestion since Shearer becoming manager of Newcastle[or any team]

Intelligent, articulate and great contacts. I think it would be a good shout, he has been managing Chelsea reserves and has got is coaching badges I think. Would be flair manager as well and his wife is a Brighton fan I think?

Intelligent & articulate? You are joking? As a pundit he comes across like a Cockney barrow boy and is incapable of pronouncing TH. He gets all agitated and struggles to accept a different point of view. In short his broadcasting skills do not lead me to believe he is management material at any level.

Intelligent, articulate and great contacts.

Maybe the last one, but he doesnt strike my as overly perceptive or insightful. All he seems to do is state the obvious or tell you what you've just seen.

I cant understand it when we have a few bad results etc and people start calling for the managers head all the time, these guys have contracts and as such it costs money to get rid each time, also any manager needs time to get established.

I'm not happy about recent results, but I certainly don't want to get rid of the manager, I doubt we could afford to anyway, personally I would have kept Dean, but thats an already well discussed topic.

Give Russell a chance to get it right, I appreciate it would be brilliant if we could get someone in who will manage a win every week, but that just aint gonna happen, even if Sir Alex or Harry came here !!

Exactly! How crazy has football become?

There were doubts about Liverpool. The fans were suicidal after the worst run of results since 1987 (FOUR STRAIGHT DEFEATS!!).

He is a small portion into his contract and mission. Things are not going right at the moment and the only way to fix that is use the loan market. It is impossible to tell if the new signings are going to make a positive impact until they have had a run of games and blended into the club. Unless we are obviously heading out of the league, he has earned the right to have a crack this season. I just hope that Bloom is patient and backs him in January (assumig Bloom IS patient).

I do think we are missing something from the coaching set up and we need some new ideas to bring to the party. I do think we are missing a Wilkins type figure.

Hell, we haven't been able to field the same side for much of the season with various injuries and a lifetimes supply of suspensions.

Not neccessarily a bad shout, would be great being able to dip into the tottenham reserves for players, if he was backed up by a strong set of backroom staff i think i could be good for us

I want Slade to stay, but if Jamie Redknapp as boss brought us Adam 'Zidane' Taarabt on loan from Spurs until the rest of the season, I would choose that! It would bring so much excitement and skill to Withdean.

I am not asking for a win every week but how in gods name can you defend the record at the moment? 3 f***ing wins out of 14 after spending one of the biggest budgets any Albion manager has had for decades, still employing White and Booker, lost f***ing Tranmere, lost to a very shit Oldham side and with a run of four that quite frankly not getting spanked 6-0 every game will be a bonus! ITS NOT GOOD ENOUGH and Bloom has got see that, I can't believe people can be so blind it's obvious it wont get better without massive change and as much as I like RS he has to go and take pinky and f***ing perky with him. We have a £93M pound stadium to move into in 2 years and we MUST be pushing at the right end of the table come the end of the season otherwise Blooms MUST have promotion season next year WONT happen. Open your eyes change has to happen now.

I agree that the coaching staff needs to be changed, but that is a differant subject, me opening my eyes will not help any situation regarding B&HA, I merely have an opinion based on facts, the main fact being, it costs alot of money to get rid of a manager these days, and I don't think we have that sort of money to chuck around, if we have, then thats a differant situation

I don't recall defending the "record at the moment" i did state "I'm not happy about recent results, but I certainly don't want to get rid of the manager, I doubt we could afford to anyway," and again I agree, it is not good enough, but changing managers every time there is a bad run will not solve the situation either, it causes unrest, lack of confidence etc etc.

Another main point is, if we were to change managers, would B&HA really attract an established manager with a good track record ? personally I think not, I think we need to nurture what we have and as you rightly state, change areas of the coaching staff, afterall, it was'nt that long ago that everyone was shouting from the highest hills regarding RS as he kept us up, and as others have said, he has earned the right to have a go this season.

As i said in my last post, personally I would have stuck with Dean, but that is a well and truly debated subject now, and he has gone and thats it.

i would like to see Poyet with Redknapp as his assistant, or Coppell and Downes, but most of all i want Slade to turn it around i really hope he does.

shame i really think he could do something given the chance, its players who were under contract from last season who have let us down not slade signings, there is only so much coaching staff can tell players making the same mistakes.
