Nobody's coming out of this looking very good are they. JC, the dickhead filming while driving (and then selling the story), the media either baying for blood or offering up simpering, insincere apologies. All a bunch of twats really.

Well, except for the teenager herself, which makes it kinda worse.

Just heard another point from this messy affair, " What was the father thinking when using his mobile phone to film Carragher while driving " ?

Both drivers should be charged for driving with undue care and attention (apologies if this has already been posted).

JC spitting is inexcusable and he should be sacked. That sort of behaviour is an instinctive reaction that could re surface at any time. A criminal offence also.

Wonder what the Scouse chat rooms are saying. Probably can’t understand what he’s done wrong.

Has anybody said yet that JC did a really horrible thing, but that the bloke filming and driving jolly well out to take a good look at himself?

Goading him ?? Its football , a bit of banter , jesus wept......

Yes goading.

Definition : provoke or annoy (someone) so as to stimulate an action or reaction.

Pretty spot on wouldn't you say?

Not defending JC at all, his actions were disgusting however I was simply making the point that if he hadn't been trying to provoke, he wouldn't have got a reaction.

i bet its fun sitting near you at the game , for.the record ive no interest.in gesturing tk tbe away fa s etc but playing close rivals at home and winning ?"goad" away to your hearts content , its what makes football different from rugby , the passion etc ,

Sky need to relieve him of his duties.
You cannot have a high profile figure behave like that in public.
If we can ban a fan for 5 years for throwing a pint of beer over a Southampton fan then he deserves what is coming to him.
How would he ever be able to commentate on a player's behaviour / antics as a pundit after what he has just done. ?

Cannot believe that's all it takes for him to overact like that. Pathetic man. Dad should cop it as well for filming while driving. Only grown up was the daughter who was embarrassed by her Dad and seeing such a stupid reaction by Carragher. Makes me wonder what he's like if he loses his rag that easily and how often he does similar stupid things.

People paid that much money should behave, no excuse he will have to go.
