I've always liked Perch. Was very useful in a number of positions for Newcastle before going to Wigan. I'd be pleased if we signed him.

The issue is with QPR lawyers. They are challenging the football league because they believe they have done nothing wrong in gaining promotion to the Premier League via a £60m loss. It's very sad that the Football League won't touch them at present because of the litigation. They are obviously prepared to lose another huge chuck of cash to get back to the top division. You can see how Forest & Blackburn are taking FFP seriously (with Boro deciding they'll take the punishment in the long term gambling on promotion this season) but QPR have ignored it by throwing millions of dosh at lawyers Let's hope they get punished properly at some point.
