Was over hit and went out harmlessly for a goal kick.

A f***ing giraffe wouldn’t have got his head on it.
Apart from the guy at the far post who it bounces right next to, obviously?

Milner was used perfectly on Saturday, that should be his role.

Defensive midfield. See out a game, use his nous to talk the boys through. I though RDZ got his subs spot on generally. I liked the roles that Lallana and Lamptey were given too

Was outstanding tonight & appeared all over the pitch. By far his best appearance in an Albion shirt & was noticeable when he left the pitch for a rest!

Delighted to eat my words about Milly tonight. Never thought I’d see him as a left winger but he was excellent. Hope it wasn’t a flash in a pan performance and he can turn out a few. After that performance, I’d Imagine Chelsea will be on the phone to TB with a £50m in the new year.

Tremendous game rolling back the years with undeniable quality and irrepressible commitment to cover the field.

At 38 next week, he's raging against the dying of the footballing light, but he's by no means done yet.

Long may he rage.
