Through a straw?

As you well know, because I suspect you have a little poetry to your soul, a pint is a type of drink.

"Fancy a pint?"

Nobody replies "Pint of what? Shampoo? Gravy?"

Whereas a litre is a measure of volume, as imposed (and rightly so) by the EU.

Since Brexit, the scope for poetry of the soul has been diminished. It. Is. A. Disgrace.
Just like Dancing May, that image you’ve reminded me of is disturbing - please stop it!

Younger folk don't say "I'm off down the pub for a couple of litres!" thank goodness.

Reportedly rejected a loan move to Everton today...

Interesting that we would be prepared to loan off another CM. Also, good to see he wants to stay here and fight for minutes, but do wonder if he would be best getting regular minutes with Everton?

It does make me wonder if we are close to someone (first team ready) coming in? Seems mad to be (if true) looking to loan Moder out otherwise.

Can't believe we are looking to loan him out, when we have little cover at CM.

Bizarre
I just think RDZ doesn't see him at all as someone competing with Gross and Gilmour for those central positions

Absolutely nothing worthwhile rumour-wise coming out of the usual sources,.
with less than 12 hours to go, I can't see it happening.
We've all been surprised before... never say never!

(you're probably right)

Another theory I have is that maybe Tony is sitting on his hands while the FFP cases go through. Perhaps he's expecting a bit of a crash in the market, with a few clubs desperate to offload in the summer. A good time to pick up bargains for the clubs with no FFP concerns... He always seems to think at least 2 moves ahead.

Ultimately he’s our asset and played no football for practically 2 years. Needs regular game time and he seems well down the pecking order

Don't think he needs to expect a crash in the market. There is a crash in the market. Chelsea can put a £50m price tag on Broja and Leicester can put £40m on KDH, but no-one is going to pay it in the current situation. Why else has there been so little activity in this window? Note also that the Saudi cash cow seems to have fallen flat, and players are leaving rather than joining.
What Bloom might be thinking is the crash might have developed further in the summer, when there's more availability and less horse-trading/ducks in a row than in Jan.

We might find that clubs are resistant to letting players go in January because the prices are so low that the players are worth more to them to help their clubs for another few months.

Then we will see a lot more business in the early stages of the summer window as clubs scramble to make sales in time for the current reporting period.
