Free transfer??

What a waste of money he was.

Meopham, Kent.
And possibly a wasted opportuinity as those who saw him at centre half believed that was his position, and yet we never gave him much of a go there.

So he was transfer listed/released then? We were never told!

As Gritt says, it's a shame he never got more of a chance in his preferred position at CB, as his one performance there showed he had a bit more to offer to us. But the squad trimming continues (oh, bye bye Colin as well then), and Jake was always bound to be on his way. Good luck to him at Oxford.

Exactly.

Also to bring in maybe an extra player or two on top of the 3 we are suppose to be looking at.
Just need to shift...

Davies
Whing
Dickinson
Maybe McNulty for a fee

Even with Sparrow in midfield i just feel we don't have enough quailty in midfield to challenge the top two yet.

I would love to see McKnulty get back into the team. He is, when fully fit an excellent defender. Just hoping he can force his way back into the team.

Really? I've never seen much evidence of that myself. He can be brilliant going forward but as a defender, not very good. I would get rid personally.

I agree. Simply not good enough defensively.

I thought he looked good at centre back, I hope we watched him while he was at Oxford just to be sure he's not good enough. On my way to Charlton this year I met a Newcastle scout on the train who was going to watch Lua-Lua, I hope we watch our players who are out on loan in the same way.
