Shrewsbury keep on about the "goal that never was", but I'm sure they had their share of decision in the other 45 games they played last season.
If you haven't seen it, a Wycombe player- I think Gareth Ainsworth- hit a long range shot which the Shrews keeper saved comfortably. Then a linesman mysteriously decided the ball had crossed the goal line. I don't think any players even asked the question, so it was something of a surprise that the lino gave it. Shrewsbury went on to lose out on automatic promotion to Wycombe by whatever it was that goal cost them.
I can see why they're pissed off, but they didn't go up because they weren't consistent enough, not because of one rogue decision.
