BUTTERBALL
East Stand Brighton Boyz
...from today's Argus, plus Kancheskis p.s....
Sounds like good news to me!
Albion are expected to be unchanged tomorrow but Coppell has hinted that it won't be too long before 16-year-old Jake Robinson becomes more involved with the senior squad.
"Jake has played in recent reserve games and made an impact," Coppell said. "He's fresh and he's lively and we think he has a future.
"Strikers make an impact if they are scoring goals, making good runs or creating goals and in a short space of time you can make a reputation. You only have to look at Wayne Rooney to see that.
"We are not putting any pressure on Jake, it's just part of his education. We are just hoping he progresses and soon he'll be part of the first team squad."
There are no hard feelings over Andrei Kanchelskis' departure according to his agent. The winger had his last Albion training session on Tuesday.
Andy Blocksage said: "It's all quite amicable, there has been no falling out. I think Brighton decided he wasn't going to join so thanks but no thanks, which I can understand."
