I'm sure his mind set would be fantastic. Right Jake, I know we've loaned you out til the end of the season, as that's when your contract runs out and we want to get rid of you. But, how would you fancy coming back and playing a few games, without letting the fact we want you out affect you?

If he plays and score's he might get a new deal here - or at the very least attract more attention from other clubs. Plus a new manager might decide he wants to keep him.

I was there watching Jake yesty and he played quality. Both goals were taken brilliantly and he had a sublime lob disallowed for his hat-trick down to a very tight offside call. Hes showing what i and others have known all along that with a bit of confidence and a run in the side along side a big man up front he will get goals and is a decent finisher.

Brighton factually.....
another feck up by Adams then !
Ps....if we are short on players with league two looming we must get him back even if it costs us a money, avoid relagation at all costs...!

If robinson has backing and has confidence he will score goals theres no question about it and he could be a good foil for murray when he comes back (Providing forster is out for a while),He's a better option than davies i think considering davies is a lazy beggar!
Anyone who says he isnt good enough or whatever
Adams DID NOT Give him a regular place and without a long run in a side no striker will score goals you cant just throw a striker in for a run of 1/2 games at a time and expect him to do the buisness
He is showing at aldershot that given a run in the side and given he has the totally confidence of the manager he will score goals
I Think we should recall him with the current injury crisis it should not even be thought about
Just my opinion guys

Are you having a laugh. He has had plenty of chances and other than a really good couple of months 2 seasons ago has never produced on a regular basis. I cannot believe anyone who has watched him regularly would believe he is the answer to our problems.

Having said that, if we can recall we should as we have so few players at the moment that anyone is worth having.

No, don't bother - whatever he's doing elsewhere, Robinson has a long history of failing at Brighton. Chance after chance and consistantly didn't perform. Let's give the youngsters a chance - Gargan up front with Davies on Tuesday - they have no history of failure, and if they're going to make it, they've got to step up sometime. That's what we're paying them for.

:shrug:Should never have let him go. The only player registered who will shoot apart from Forster. Better than Carole at dribbleing. We'll never score goals like the Crewe second because we just don't shoot on target.

Unfortunately, after yesterdays pathetic performance the last 2 words of your post are superfluous.

Said this before todays game. The type of player we should have on the bench and would have made a difference today, could even have started today with Forster being out.

Definitely should be recalled.

Should never have been loaned out superb player to have on the bench at the very least

Absolute crap. I can't recall a single game where this great impact player has come on and turned the game (in our favour that is). He might be a confidence player but in the 5/6 years he has been with us he has never warranted a run in the team.

I would agree with that, except he is consistently shit and has been for years. I can't even think of one attribute that he is good at, he is just all round rubbish.

I don't care about what he is doing in League Two, we're not there yet and he has proved on a number of occassions just how bad he is.

Couldn't agree more. It is unbelievable how many chances he has had and yet still people worship the ground he treads.
