Wilkins is losing the plot. The kid from Arsenal was an absolute joke today. Put Gary Hart in at right back. Joel Lynch played an absolute blinder. I would have started with Savage. He may be crap but he is awkward and makes defenders panic.:drink:

The odd thing is that Jake had some great powerful shots in the warm up - just dire after that though!

Hart is a dire right back.

I would be tempted to try 3 up front.

Nobody wants to get on his back but Robinson must be left out. He has been poor for several games now.

Agreed, I like Jake but he is not scoring and we do have (albeit limited) other options up front in Savage, Gatting and Elder.

One goal and no doubt Jake will start scoring again and maybe that is Wilkins thinking...hoping.

I see Naylor is having another pop at Dick Knight on the Argus website again about funding a quality forward and poking his nose in too much on the football side of things!

He's obviously having a tricky time and his control, pasing, all round game is suffering at the moment. He's a confidence player. Once he scores again he'll be fine and he'll look like a different player. It'll help that Revell should be back next week - those two enjoy playing together.

Is that Naylor talking or his golfing mate, who would know.

against Forest, would love to see:

Robinson - Revell - Bowditch

big Revell in the middle with his high work rate chasing down balls, and using his height. Two players on the outside who will run at defenders and pose a shooting threat.

He hasnt scored since f***ing Huddersfield!

He has to be dropped
Wrong. He scored a hatrick v Northwich Victoria; also scored at Millwall in the JPC and against Stafford Rangers. Get your facts right next time before posting that crap.

He's struggling at the moment and other teams are now realising how to stop him. He'll improve his game to combat this, he'll hopefully get a goal and his confidence will grow and he'll do well again. Cox has been pretty average for a few months two. There were our two massive players, they're now out of form. Problem is obvious, solution, well thats for Wilkins to find.

I like Jakey, but still think he looks best as a winger...gets the ball down takes players on, just his finishing that has been poor of late.

Be tempted to play him on the right and tell him to get at players.

Also wtf has happened to Elder ?
