As a Formula 1 fan, I think he's the only piece of the jigsaw that Sky are missing. They've taken the best of the BBC and added plenty to the coverage themselves, but I think getting JH on board would have made them even more superior.

Agreed, but can't see him jumping over - he is presumably on a pretty big contract at the BBC. He fronts a lot of stuff.

Not just sport - the NYE celebrations, Jubilee coverage, etc.

I don't Care who any of the presenters are, I'm watching the sport. I just want the presenter to provide accurate information about the event, venue and competitors, I have no interest whatsoever in who the presenter is, or anything else about him. IMO this is symptomatic of how sport has changed for the worse over the (recent) years. the stars are those on the pitch or track, not someone who can talk into a microphone, and invariably waffle on just because they love the sound of their own voice. At times it is acceptable to just shut up and let the images do the talking.

I like him. Seems like a bit of laugh, and appears to know his stuff as well.

And yes Trevor Nelson was the only downside to what was otherwise a brilliant opening ceremony. BBC got it all wrong with him.

He holds the BBC F1 programme together in spite of having to wander around alongside that dull goody two shoes Coulthard and Eddie "you say it's white I'll go with black" Jordan. How hard must it be to be amusing and professional with those tits as his side kicks.

I like him

Now Colin f***ing Jackson is the Mark Bright of atheltics, except he's even more irritating, how the hell did he ever get a job commentating? Gormless and charmless.

Safe and a little bland for it. Don't dislike him, but wouldn't notice if he disappeared.

Yeah but you don't half notice a crap one.
Which is probably why JH is getting the love, here.
