I think it's terrible whats happening to her, and good that she is trying to earn as much money for her children. But there are more important things going on in the world at the moment, and there is no way that she should be on the front page basically everyday.

There's never all the dignity that I want to give to someone who has died, but i'd like to say I have seen at least one dignified death that I can think of. Seen a couple of non-dignified unfortunately - but they've mainly been in theatres, where something has gone drastically wrong.

It's so sad - it's definitely not the way i'd go out if I were her, but then I'm not - if she's doing this to secure a better future for her kids than she had, then it's not for us to judge. The only thing we can judge is why the media such as the Sun will continue to pay for these things rather than leave her be. Sad reflection on society really.

Excellent post. I don't know Jade Goody, but I dislike the way people can become famous just for being famous,however, this is not her fault and is a reflection of the society we live in.

I think some of the posts on this thread have been very ill judged, and aimed at someone that has two children who are probably very scared at the moment as I am sure she is. No one should wish death on anyone no matter how much they dislike them.

the issue people should have is not with her but with those responsible for putting her on the front page, paying her shit loads to follow her around with a camera etc etc.

It's not about whether or not people have lost someone close to them or not, I'm sure we all have because it's part of life, but it's more a case of who gives a f*** about Jade f***ing Goody? I'm sorry to repeat what was said on previous thread about Jade but it's worth repeating: 90% of the people on here getting all stroppy about people stating their dislike for the woman would probably have agreed with the comments 12 months ago. Now that she's dying all of a sudden we're supposed to all be nice to her which is just rediculiously hypocritical.

I've never liked the woman although obviously i'm sad that at woman in her 20's with 2 kids is dying. Trouble on here is there's too many people that hate the woman just cos she's famous (when in reality that should hate the general public more because they're the reason she's famous) and there's too many at the other end of the scale that claim we should all be nice about her just because she's dying even though many hated her in the first place

The thing which strikes me about this thread, is how personally Rodfox has taken all the comments. Some have been in bad taste, the joke about the calender only going up to April made me howl with laughter because that's my type of humour, but noone is actually saying anything truly horrifically vile in my opinion, people are taking things far too seriously. The truth is people are pissed off at the level of exposure Goody is getting, myself included because a good friend of mine is dying with a form of cancer at the moment, but she's going about it in a dignified manner (spending all the money she has on holidays and whatnot, good for her. ). I know Jade will have us all believe she's "doing it for the kids", and there's an element of truth in that, it's horrible for those kids to have to deal with this, which they'll do in a few years time, but that's not the only reason why. She only ever wanted to be famous, and now she is, beyond her wildest beliefs. She got what she wanted, all the fame she could wish for. Her face on every newspaper and her story on all the news programmes daily. You can't blame people for being pissed off when there are far more serious things going on in this country, and in the world in general.

I'm sure there'll be a level of general anger aimed at my post now for my views, and that's what this forum is for. But let's keep it constructive, shall we.

Also, the suggestion people should be banned is worse than players on a football pitch diving and then wanting a yellow card shown to an opponent, I find it distasteful and rude to the admins and mods on here.

I obviously feel very sorry for Jade, but I must admit the seemingly far too conveniantly steady stream of news stories over the past weeks is getting out of hand. I understand why she wanted to make some money for her kids, but now surely her publicist could just let her die in peace.
