Typical English player Ok in the Premier League, looks good against lesser teams but when up against quality left wanting, just another one off the production line of over hyped media built up modern celebrity footballers.

He'll go to Brazil and get injured in the second game.

I always think hes going to get injured every time he gets tackled. Have you noticed the way he runs/dribbles? His both his feet are always bent in a position that is asking to be injured and he twists his body.

Jack Wilshere will NEVER stay fit for a whole season. Never! Would rather have Lallana these days...

If that is a true quote its spot on.

Wiltshire is highly overrated, his injuries are mostly down to his own poor judgement and for every 3 good passes there is one bad one which normally costs goals

Is that paraphrasing this quote?

"Wilshere is a top player. He is an excellent player, not just Arsenal, but also for the national team. [But] he is lucky because we have many players in the second team like him but he plays because there is no pressure at his club to win titles."

A little bit different.....

As I said on the England 11 thread, he is obviously talented but certainly over-hyped.

If Arsene Wenger ever has a fully fit squad to pick from for key games I am not even 100 per cent convinced he would make the Arsenal starting 11 when you consider he has Ramsey, Flamini, Arteta, Ozil, Walcott, Cazorla, Rosicky and Oxlade-Chamberlain competing with him for the five positions behind Giroud.
