Brilliant pictures JS as ever....

I have a question now...What is going to stop people falling down the 20ft drop between the road and the back of the new west stand? The builders have pegged supports etc into the chalk, and put a wire mesh there etc, but surely that is a potential problem unless a dirty great wall is going there or something?? any one have any idea what will happen. Can see what I mean picture 4 1st group of pics what happens when the fence comes down?

Cheers G. So in other words, someone cocked up.
Not necessarily.

In my experience, the Stanmer works aren't the first major road construction project in Brighton where "unforeseen issues surrounding buried statutory services have delayed completion".

The truth is that NO-ONE really knows what's buried underground until a site is cleared. Blame earlier generations who left stuff there without recording the fact.

It's sort of coming. Still a little early.
Probably another 2 weeks.

Sorry to be a pain, I know it has been asked before but I cannot find it. How many seats are there in each of the four stands? ta

Thanks again JS.

Without you all we'd have is the official pics every month, and that completey useless webcam.

It's been showing about the same view for 2 months now. So much for Martin Parry timelapse!

Shouldn't moan, but would it kill them to run a cable and move the ****ing thing:rant::yawn: Even if it was angled to look through the gap in the norht and east (??!!???) stands it'll be better than nothing, otherwise they may as well just turn the poxy thing off!:bla:

Yes. Just a plain old Panasonic Lumix Z7 zoomed in on 2MP.
It goes up to 10MP but they're too big for NSC, but will be used for the calendar.
Takes HD videos too.
It's a great little camera. Much better than my Sony Cybershot which I used up until the new year when the sensor got dust particles in, meaning all the photos had what looked like finger prints on them.
