Arch going up and a Brighton win?

Is that too much to ask for from today?

To be honest, right now I'm delighted to have the arch up and the result tonight is almost secondary....it's being built!

I'm told that the west stand comes next, (that's the big daddy one) with the steel starting to go up in February.
They must have moved hundreds of lorry loads of chalk from that area whilst we were there this morning.
Don't do cricket, sorry.

Excellent work JS. It's a good job you're doing what you're doing because the club's stuff is bloody useless and so out of date. Thanks again.

Now, where's that Barry fella's stuff?

isnt it about time we bestowed upon Mr Straw the title of Lord Jack of Straw for services above and beyond the call of mere mortal men?

I also thought....Sir Natter of Jack.

I'm told that the middle bit should go up tomorrow, and the third bit Sunday.
This is only if the wind stays below 20 m.p.h. which I believe it should.
There is only 1 good viewing hole, so either take a small ladder, or another good position is at the top of the fire escape on the corner of Bevendean House. If you follow the blue hoarding from Village Way, you come to some steps, and there's the fire escape on your left.
I can now envisage hundreds of people jostling for position on these steps!

I think NJ said the first bit was in the region of 120 odd tons.

Stunning stuff again JS (and whichever one of the workforce it was).
