Get yourself a car and approach the stadium from Rottingdean direction. As you start to come over the brow of the hill the first view is of Sussex University on the far side of the A27; and then you see the stadium site opening out in front of you. It is quite stunning and very much a "tears in your eyes moment".

Im likely to be coming the other way unfortunately as my dad's place is in Woodingdean and I will be travelling back from Heathrow via A23, A27 - however, im sure I will be using Falmer road while im there so look forward to taking it all in. Already convinced the other half that if we are still based in NY come opening day then we will be flying back for that game.

Went past the new NY Red Bulls arena in NJ the other day and that place is pretty cool - not a patch on the "New Goldstone" though
