If I recall correctly, that particular view across the AONB was specifically raised as an issue by Lewes District Council.
It's quite apparent from JS's picture that the East Stand does not rise any higher than the sightline that takes in the Sussex University campus.
Sure ... you'll be able to see the stadium, but it's not intruding on a rural vista.
And I'm not even going to claim that Sussex University spoils the view. Sir Basil Spence was one of the greatest British architects of his time. His buildings should be shown off and praised ... as should our stadium.
