I've tried to vary it a bit this week.
It's another two weeks before Buckingham take over the Uni buildings.
The Costa Express has visited a new ground!
There's also a "Spot the Natterjack" competition, as site engineers wait eagerly to start demolition of said Uni buildings!!
Service works have started on the SEEDA stuff between Coldean Lane and Stanmer Park.

In fairness (and I'm with everyone else who LOVES that picture) it does show how the stadium genuinely is going to fit in with the contours of the land. And let us not forget that the actual field the stadium's going on was a shithole.

What road is that?

The road-works photo was taken yesterday, opposite Southern Water by the entrance to Stanmer Park on the A270. looking back towards Coldean Lane, the direction towards the town centre.

Like the new angle on things to freshen it up, especially the spy-hole pic....captures an element of my Falmer ritual....regularly peeping through to glimpse that scene of marvellousness so tantalisingly close (temporally as well as physically) beyond.

Once again, I salute you, sir, and your excellent documenting of this wonderous on-going event.
