It is really something. My 8 year old is just about to go to bed and have called him over to show him the picture of the arch in place. Then got the computer generated image and showed him how it all fits together. Can honestly say it's the first time he really can imagine being there sitting underneath it with his dad and brother. Great stuff Jack, your efforts have sent a little chap to bed looking forward to the future!

Brilliant pics JS & Everest.

I was the half term taxi service ferrying the kids to and from Esporta yesterday afternoon and saw you shivering whilst precariously balanced, looking over the fence.

Hats off to your tenacity and patience to bring us the low down week in / week out & for the special one off events.

The first bit of the arch looked awesome from every angle I could see it from (whilst negotiating the traffic) and I wonder how impressive it will look from the top of Hollingbury hill once the other 2 parts are lifted into place?

Can anyone pursuade Derek Chapman to take a ride in his chopper to snap some aerial shots at the end of the week?

See you tomorrow Jack? Looks like it may be quite a nice day, not so sure about Friday though.

That's the plan Ev.
I've arranged my work to hopefully be able to get there.
I'll bring a flask this time!

Depends how it all goes, Wiggy.
Friday is most def ON anyway.
More cameras = more angles/nothing missed.

I wouldnt want to intrude but i do like watching the progress.
I might just come over if i finish work early to watch the action and to keep you both company.

No intrusion at all. Just what the hell do you think we get up to? :lolol:
The more the merrier.

Note to self - stop digging holes.

As it looks like a nice day tomorrow, I may even take a drive up there to get different angles.
