After a false start a month ago, it looked there might be another when I heard that the lunch time lift-off had been postponed.
However, 3.30pm, game on!
Poor Everest, he had been on site for most of the day, and was freezing.
I rejoined him late in the afternoon and it was a matter of waiting for various bolts to be undone to free the arch from the supports, final checks that all was well, and then came the big lift.
This time, it shouldn't come back down again, ever!
