I simply LOVE those blue roofs

I dont - it looks bloody awful.

- it's the ONLY mistake so far.

A clear/translucent roof would have looked much better.

Corrugated blue plastic looks mightily cheap, especially when you'vve spent top dollar on everything else.

Its still great, but the roof covering has turned out differently to what I expected from these pics. It certanily looked more "glassy" in the plans.

Um, we've got/we're going to have a translucent roof.

What else would a translucent roof be made of?

Glass would be much more expensive and much heavier. I know Uncle Tony is minted and everything, but I'd imagine there are limits.

OK, I'll spell it out very slowly.

CLEAR plastic, as opposed to BLUE plastic would have looked a whole lot better.

It's the colour chosen that is the problem, not the material used.

Stop being a cock. The roof will be translucent when the blue sheeting comes down.

What blue sheeting ?

I'd Ask The Club, but we'll probably be playing there by the time I got an answer.

Its the blue netting people.... it will be taken down, and it will look a whole lot less blue!

Ya know, without the blue stuff.

Shit that facility. I asked ages ago if questions were still being answered and he came back with some smug reply about having a nice holiday. Then seems to of disapeared again

Stadium looks great

Hoping the corner bits will be done next

In a pile of football shirts
The 'holes' in the sides are to allow airflow, to help prevent the pitch dying. Same as at the Emirates, and other new stadiums, but not Wembley for some reason, hence the grass keeps dying.

It's CLEARLY blue netting as shown in many of jacks brilliant pics.

BUT, more to the point...why would it f***ing MATTER If it WAS blue? I mean SERIOUSLY.

Not ONCE in 10 years of getting soaked at the Withdean have I thought 'if only I had a roof, but I hope it's not bloody blue'

Some people are bloody ungrateful sometimes.

Maybe the panels are covered in a protective film which will be removed once everything is 100% complete?

Even if this is the final colour-it will look fantastic.

Thanks Graeme:thumbsup:
