Naughty as in asking for a lot of money to release their asset?

They can do literally whatever they want.

Of course... still, I, and I believe I'm in the majority, think they are taking the p1ss...

They can 'take the piss' all they like.

They will release their asset when they feel they have received an offer which is too good to refuse.

It's literally the very basis of business.

I find your view truly odd. We did the very same with Stephens 2 seasons ago. We valued keeping him far above what Burnley offered.

Or they simply don't want to sell him. What's wrong with that?

Very true, we can all moan and say how unfair it is, but he is contracted to Reading, so they can put any price they like on his head.

FFS... I'm glad my light-hearted dig at Reading has generated so much response! :) Reading ARE taking the p1ss, and I hope they back-down on their OTT demands, or we go elsewhere TBH...

Blimey that is naughty. Don't they know who we are?

I don't think they know who they are TBH... we are a Prem powerhouse now... they aren't...

"Hi Triggaaar, I would like to buy your apple for £20p"

"Thanks Mejona, but I actually am quite hungry and I want to eat it."

"Yeah, but I'm also hungry and I want your apple"

"Oh Ok then. Here you go."

True... I guess I don't like Reading very much but, really, £15M for a player who has played a few games in the Prem a while ago... ridiculous...

True. They set the price, we can buy if we like.

What we don't do is cave, otherwise we get a reputation as folding like a map in negotiations.

What if he wants to go?
What if they need the money to invest in their (nearly relegated) squad?
As I say, I agree they can ask what they want... however, we can walk away, or try to knock them down on price...

I maintain that, and let me emphasize that this is IMHO, they are taking the p1ss with the price tag they have come up with, ergo I had the audacity to say they were being 'nawty'...

However, I think you are asking far too much for your apple, so I'm going to buy my second-choice apple "Sheffield Delicious" instead, for less than half the price you are asking...
