Agree with all comments, he has been immense, polish off his heading and decision making, and goals will come too.
Re: heading - he’s got a great leap on him. Has won some headers I really wouldn’t expect him to.

I just love watching him. Some young players you watch, you just know they have ‘it’ and he definitely has. I’m not trying to put too much pressure on him but he really reminds me of a young Steven Gerrard.

It’s quite bizarre to think that when James Milner made his loan debut for Swindon the opposing right back was Adam Hinshelwood and it was nearly 2 years before Jack was born.

Today Milner went joint second on the all time PL appearance list, 66 of those games were before Jack was born.

And yet RdZ has been taken by surprise. Even he didn't see these levels coming.

He is such a goal threat arriving late at the back post. Has already scored 2 and very close to a few more.

No one more surprised than Dwayne!

To be fair, no one could have seen this. You just never know for sure how kids will take to the pressure of first team senior football.

Most 18/19 olds at PL clubs are of a similar ability but it’s mentality that usually makes the difference for the ones who do go on.

He is turning into an excellent player but we have to keep our expectations for him in check. We’ve seen with Ferguson that for young players, development isn’t linear and sometimes they’ll have difficult patches.

Great performance Jack - MOTM indeed - such an exciting breakout - multi-positional and will certainly be wasted in just as a RB - Gross’s understudy for sure - a wide attacking midfielder imo.

Can’t believe our teenage kicks at the moment 😍

Also if Hinshelwood continues to improve at the current rate, I can see him becoming a better player than his dad.

Thinking about our central midfielders for next season……..Hinshelwood must be there with Gilmour & Groß. He has done that well.

But Dahoud and Moder still have a bit to do. Lallana and Milner might retire and Baleba needs a lot of game time but can we afford to give him it?

Tbh he has looked better in his roles at full back than he did in the game he played at midfield. I wonder if he might be fully converted into a full back? because he has everything you want in a full back in the modern game.
