That brought back some memories. I didn't realise he was still going in 1980.

Now I don't doubt that the property has a shed, but the shed in Out of Town was as sure as eggs are eggs, in a recording studio.

That had the old spin tingling, they did use two theme tunes however. I can't find the original for this, only a Max Bygraves one but the lyrics were;

Here too - or at least when I was a kid in Worthing in the 1960s. I've been singing bits of the theme tune to myself all morning and trying to remember the words, which someone has now helpfully posted above!

Absolutely.........Whitehouse almost certainly used to watch it, given he's a mad-keen (and pretty good) angler. Used to love watching it myself too.
