He might not be happy, but there is responsibility that comes with a £15m transfer fee, of which he would have personally financially benefited from. He needs to start delivering.

The fee has **** all to do with the player. Isquierdo is doing more than knockhaert but knockhaert stays on !!

Look beyond the player and see what the manager is expecting of them and how they fit inot the game plan. As I see it Knockheart is being asked to play in exactly the same way as last year, which is now inappropriate and Isquierdo is being asked to defend too much and is not being released to attack as he was brought into the team to do. I would say its about the manager and how he uses his assetts.

We were chatting along exactly the same lines in the car on the way home. He just isn't a Hughton type of player as he can't defend. Also, today he was up against Dawson who is slow. Why not use his pace to get to the byline some of the time at least. Are we coaching the flair out of him. Personally we thought he deserved to be substituted.

Is Lua Lua fit, if so he should be added to the 25. I cant see much difference between Kazenga and the expensive Izquierdo and we do have two vacant places in the 25.

I thought he was excellent today. Positive, creative, and always looking to go forward. But also put in a few defensive stints as well.

His performance deserved a goal. Always a threat and his link up play with those little give and go's are a joy to behold!

He made the 2nd for Murray. That give and go is just unplayable. Also brilliant for the 4th, the way he goes past the defender and gets the cross in.

He seems to be learning and making much better decisions game by game. He's not just cutting in on his right any more.

It certainly seemed that way at the time of my original post! That said, would you not agree that it is Izquierdo plus one of either March or Knockhaert?

Definitely. I’ve consistently said AK and Izquierdo, even when lynch mobs didn’t rate either player or obsessed in playing local favourite SM.

He's really beginning to find his feet now. He always looked like he should be an excellent player it's just taken a bit of time to get the hang of what's expected of him/how we play. Now he's found his groove and rhythm in the team he looks a real threat.

It's interesting how our wing play has changed this season. It used to be the winger and fullback linking up as beautifully exemplified by Knockaert and Bruno ripping opposition left flanks to shreds time and again. Now a lot of our best wing play comes from the wingers linking up with Gross and Murray. It's an equally if not more beautiful sight.
