No, sorry, he should have passed to Propper and not shot after that run. Propper was ahead of the keeper with a defender playing him onside. Izquierdo is a useful player but is prone to go glory hunting. If I was Hughton I would be having a word about that opportunity to put us two goals up.

I didn't want him to pass, I wanted him to score. One on one after such an excellent run, he should have buried it. (Incidentally if he was ahead of the keeper he would have been offside, but I think he was just behind). Ridiculous to call him a glory hunter when he set both our goals up by passing when could have shot. First goal was definite cross, you'll see on the highlights later.

If he was ahead of the keeper with only one player in front of him he is offside.

Same here. I didn't even see Propper, I was only watching Izquierdo. I'm not sure any of us can honestly say that in the same situation we would have calmly passed the ball - 99% of us would have wanted to score ourselves.

That would have depended on whether Izquierdo had passed the ball forwards, or merely across (or even slightly behind).

All our chances came through him. Yes, he should squared it at 2-1 but it wouldn’t have even been 2-1 without him. He was excellent both going forward and defending. And for what it’s worth I think of you want to play the blame game for not winning, surely it’s Propper for his woeful clearance that should deserve your condemnation.
