Izquierdo - Don't Raise Expectations

Yep some new signings hit the ground running, some don't (all of our recent ones)

If he doesn't get a hat-trick, two assists, nutmeg the ref, kiss the badge and clap the fans on his debut he will officially be a flop and a huge waste of money for which heads must roll.

Now we all know where we stand :)

None of that matters we have already been relegated with the worst points of any team ever. And to make matters worse Huddersfield have gone and won the bloody league

Our new fastman winger about to embark on his Premier League career with us comes from FC Brugges, towards the end of the transfer window to a newly promoted team.
I am not sure how good he is or where CH will put him in the team, but many on here are refering to him in 'prodigal son' terms and have raised the expectation of what he can do for us. To put this in context, how much would we think Knockheart is worth, then compare this with what Izquierdo has cost us.
I feel we should adopt a wait and see approach as with Propper, Gross, Suttner and Ryan, otherwise we may be disappointed and back to the usual who wasted the money on this guy.
I do want him to be a roaring success, but I will wait and see like all of our other new signings.

Who is Knockheart?

12 points to go to beat Derby's all time record low.
We know we are going to lose the last 5 games of the season. Man C, Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham and Everton will all take 6 points off us. So will Huddersfield. That leaves 21 games. We know we are going to lose at home to Palace. We know we are going to lose half of those remaining games. that leaves10 games to get any points. Nine of those games will be draws.
Gonna be tight.

There's nothing like a bit of positivity...and that was nothing like a bit of positivity.

We could have a 'discussion' about his form.

A load of people can say 'he's shite', while others reply 'it's too soon to know'.

That is how a discussion works, isn't it?
A bit like the Brexit debate. Hours spent contributing to 1000s of pages, with nobody having changed their mind despite all the 'facts and figures' being presented.

Last season Liverpool lost to Burnley Swansea Hull Bournemouth Palace so how do "we" know they'll beat us?
