I think we can do much better. Summary of his time with us is pretty much this; 1 cracking if slightly jammy goal (when he shot due to running out of breath), 1 glancing headed goal, 1 defence splitting pass (to Chris Reid) and, of course, being in the right place at the right time to get us THAT penalty. Not good enough for Div 1 as Stoke already knew. I have a mate who is a 6ft2 forward who plays in a local league and I agree with his assessment that if he, or any other similarly built striker, could get to pro-football fitness levels then they could pretty much the same job as Chris did for us. Good luck to him for the future though, seems a nice bloke.

the other main reason he went there was that they are in the uefa cup next season having got to the final of the german fa cup equivalent..

why didnt we sign Mooney? he went to Oxford! Or Deon Burton, surely he would ve been half decent! he signed for Brentford!! It seems to me that we have missed out on a number of good free agents. I hope this hungarian guy is good
