it is a bit worrying how the system doesn't require anything at all, you just turn up give a name and vote.

I have just voted ( very upset to see there was not a Revolutionary Communist Party candidate:angry::angry::angry:) and I asked the two old biddies there if they would like to see some ID...they said No, me confirming my name is ok. I said I could have found this on the road outside ( polling card) and she just shrugged her shoulders.

very odd

Oh and this bloke in a red rosette asked me if he could count on my vote. I asked him if Labour had turned miraculously back into solcialists? He mumbled something about Thatcher and shuffled off

As long as you are on their list and you know your name and address you should be fine. That rules out some people though, no doubt
