I go to get me glasses to put on and walk up the shop. I can't find them. They are normally in one of three places. Not so today. I'm pretty organised and hunting them down never takes long. Nothing, nil. They have vanished.

Most frustrating as I need them to drive, although other road users may be relieved.

So, in desperation, I now need left field suggestions to find my elusive extra eyes. Where better place than NSC.

No, they are not on my nose- I did make that mistake once before.

This is the kind of thing that makes the local news in the South West.

I lost my sunglasses on Tuesday, somewhere between Tates Kia garage at Pyecombe & South Downs Nurseries in Hassocks.

I have used most of the previously listed advice - looked everywhere in the car, retraced my steps etc even asked if they were in the lost property!

The only good thing they are prescription sunglasses so anyone who has picked them up thinking they have found a nice pair of Ray Bans will need lousy eyesight like mine to see through them!

Well, I have found me glasses. I sense the universal energy of NSC guided me in their direction.

This was the prize winning entry, for they were blending into the background of the dark carpet aside the bed.. Hiding by the wardrobe, indeed pinged off last night whilst I supped my milk in bed, engrossed in an Alan Bennett commentary.

I was a little disappointed in the lack of puns that ensued. I would like to be more positive about them, but I can't frame it in any other way.

Maybe next time you should consider some specs that are a little less camouflagey or I can see this happening again.

we were heading straight to the café for a 'big breakfast' before they stopped serving at 11am so did not have time to look at the Armoire's or Davenport's!
