i was thinking more along the lines of patrick m'boma, but christian bassedas is a perfect replacement

i think that is bollocks to be honest - if they have the gall, the cheek and the craft to secure a signing of federicos quality, then convincing jose to join should be like taking candy from a baby

in a business sense, the increased revenue of shirt sales would see much more money become available, i wouldnt mind betting that the people of brescia would pay TRIPLE what they curently do to get into the ground, just to catch a glimpse of federicos hair. with all the income he will make ALONE, a player of joses sheer flair could easily be afforded. and lets be honest, he would have to be two bricks short of a building to turn down the chance to line up in that dream team

Absolutely. If we manage to get Asamoah or Pat we could always leave Christian on the bench. I have always found him to be a great chap to have in the squad, and he doesn't moan when he has to sit out matches for the good of the team. Now, how about some defensive cover? I'm thinking Earl Barrett for starters....
