I've just blown up my kitchen...!

Put some eggs on to boil, then got chatting to my neighbour outside.
After a while I noticed smoke coming from my back door. Went inside to see pan had boiled dry and kitchen full of smoke. As I took the pan off the heat, the last egg EXPLODED, showering my kitchen in bits of burnt egg and egg shell. Made a f***ing BIG bang too -- quite impressive!

Now have to spend the rest of the night getting egg off the ceiling , walls, windows, door, floor and places I haven'y even looked yet...

could of been worse, you could of been making Banofee pie and had a tin of condensed milk in a pan of boiling water and the water boiled dry and the can would of blown a hole in your cooker hood and the ceiling and worse still if you were in the kitchen at the point of explosion you would of been splattered with a boiling hot tar like substance which incidently would now be all over your kitchen now cooling and sticking like glue to everything it splattered which effectivly means you would now need a whole new kitchen and major surgery in the burns unit!
