For my final birthday prezzie, we all trotted off to the velodrome at Calshott, where I had a 90min introduction to track cycling.
and blooming great it was too.
The banking was so steep it felt more like a 'wall of death', it's certainly not possible to walk/crawl up.
But after a few spins, I managed to defy gravity, and my own lack of confidence, to charge round the top half of the track.
Followed by a bit of family time, in the New Forest.
