I tend to find solid drinking for at least 4 hours prior to the match keeps the cold at bay.

i only had time to cram in 3 and a 1/2 hours of double vodkas, and by the time we staggered outta the pub i couldnt feel a thing - not even walking into a car near where that crazy palace fan came running out of his house.

however by the end my feet were f***ing soaked!!???

Fell into the row in front when we scored. Cut leg. Cut finger. Bruises on both knees. Thankfully copious amounts of liquid anaesthetic beforehand meant I felt little pain (til the next day by which time my head and throat were worse).

Quality.

Slight back strain and sore shin from after we scored so no real damage there. Well not until the lino put his flag up for their "goal" - when my sides split and my head fell off.

I have a constant problem with dislocating shoulders, when we scored I jumped up and punched the air with my right arm, got pushed at the same time and felt my shoulder pop out then straight back in.

It doesnt hurt too much as I am used to the pain after a dozen or so previous dislocations.

Me too, I also fell off the chair whilst trying to stand on it and remind the Palace fans of the score.

Did that too also in attempt to give a friendly gesture to our palace counterparts after the goal. Throats fine now but bruise still there after cracking my shin celebrating the goal.

That's the spirit :)

I'm pretty sure at some point i jumped on your back as well?! Or could've been ant's. :lolol:

Have a habbit of injuring other people in goal celebrations- elbowed my dad against Hartlepool a few seasons back, and right-hooked a newcastle supporting mate who'd decided to come along to sheff united away last season when we scored just before half time. It was a She, as well :nono:

One of the blokes me and Portlock sit with at home games dislocated his shoulder a few seasons ago while celebrating a goal. Jumped up, did a huge great 'yes!' and his arm popped out of its socket :lolol:

I've just got f***ing long arms that tend to get in the way in wild goal celebrations!

Up date on injuries. My knee has seized up....

Both my knees were painful after the game and most of yesterday. I think having my mates, and people I didn't know from the rows behind and in front crashing on to me when we scored didn't help!

I blame McShane! :)

Looks like Junior might be a victim of the melee of joyous scenes as he joined in the bundle when we scored down the front.

He has been limping a bit recently which I thought was a footie injury and now has a "stick" fracture and a light plaster on.

Going to the fracture clinic tomorrow so another lay-off from footie

I do feel for the lad just getting back to form and match fitness after the last long term lay-off.
