As a Sunderland and Brighton fan, they must be the most biased broadcasters for football!

Yesterday, as they had Pards mates on the highlights, they were loving Newcastle, saying Brighton were lucky.

Today as it was townsend the tool on, they were talking about how good it is to see the under dog do well!

Make your mind up, and please please please stop showing football

Totally right. Extremely biassed and that idiot Warnock thought it was funny when El-Abd got a stud in the face. ITV should be banned from doing ANY kind of sport. Truly amateurish and woeful.

They made it look like we scored our one chance and Newcatle were all over us. This is very far from the truth!

Agreed they must have showed every the attack and shot they had and made it look one sided. The most biased highlights I have seen. Thought we completely outplayed their midfield and were worth the win.

This

Don't know why they bother showing the same matches as BBC when England play in World Cup/Euros, BBC always get 4 or 5 times as many viewers, BBC may not be brilliant but 100 times better than sh*te ITV. Also what is that bolloc*s of Townsend pitch side doing interviews during half/full time at Champions League matches, are they too stingy to pay for a studio?

Outplaying someone's midfield never comes across in highlights though - it's all about what happens around the box.

Very disappointed by the coverage they gave us - normally the media love the lower league team winning but it seems that our victory has put quite a few noses out of joint

Yeah but they didn't even show the lovely bit of skill and shot from CMS in the second half......wtf!!

ITV gave our match first place in the highlightes so have no problems which showed that our goal was scored by a defender and our opponents should have a replay as a result of a penalty that was not given.

I suppose any network who are showing highlights will only show what they consider to be the highlights due to time constraints. Hence we see goals, serious attacking moves and major incidents. OK

Well, in my albeit pretty poor opinion, Albion played some delightful football yesterday, some truly excellent movement.

But those sort of things you are sadly never ever going to see in highlights.
