Is it possible to have two iTunes accounts on the same PC if they are downloaded on different Windows log-ins?

Thanks in advance.

Do you mean different libraries or itunes store accounts?

I've never tried the different libraries, but I would have thought so, since the music is stored on each log in's own area.

As for the itunes store accounts, yes you can. I have two, I made the second when my first was authorised on too many computers.

open itunes while holding down the shift key - this gives you the opportunity to start a new itunes library (or open one of your pre-existing itunes library). carfeul though, it's easy to get mixed up - remember where you saved each library, and where the music from each library is saved. Updating the software can cause some strange things to happen sometimes.

Further to this, I've recently had my PC crash and burn. Luckily, I've backed up my music on to an external drive but after reloading 'iTunes' on my newly regenerated machine, it keeps asking me to authorise the computer to play tracks. I type in my account password, all to no avail; it keeps asking me to authorise the PC

I've not used up my number of PCs that can be authorised either. Any help - as always - greatly appreciated.

Is it something simple like caps lock? I had that trouble recently where I tried to enter my password and it kept getting rejected until I realised the cap lock was on.

Have you tired switching it off and back on again ?
