Into my 4th season now and whilst the team are still going string I still haven't worked out how on earth you sign new players. Every time I bid as much as I'm allowed, offer everything I possibly can and always get rejected.

Problem is I've lost several players recently and my squad is at the bare minimum now with no cover at Left back or Right midfield most urgently.

I'm not flush for cash so I can't break the bank for anyone and I appreciate I'm not gonna attract the quality players but at the moment I'm just desperate for anyone that can play in those positions.

Furthermore whenever I try and do a player search on the transfer list as soon as I set the "sort by" option (to sort by club fee) the entire database vanishes and I'm told there are no players available, in any position. Then I have to wait til the next day for them to reappear and the procedure is repeated. This has been going on for weeks and weeks now and whilst I enjoy the game it's now getting to the point where I just can't play it. Soon I won't have any players left and it isn't letting me replace them.

It seems a shame as my team were doing so well and the stadium's coming along nicely.

Can anyone offload some cheap players to me number one, and secondly does anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong on the transfer list?

I'd love to tell itsagoal.com all this but I can't seem to find any support address.

Any help gratefully received.

There are some free players in the transfer list.
Search by Age ascending and go for 24/25 year old players. Offer them 30% extra wages, a car and 5 years contract.
I've been looking this morning and there are quite a few LBs especially.

I've found that. Most frustrating.

Just jump along to the 50th page or so (for me, in div 468 - you may be able to aim higher) then look for the freebies. Offer them hefty wages and a car, and one or two should come. I managed to get a superb midfielder and a couple of other useful players doing this.

The sort by club fee is broken - don't use it.

If you're desperate for players go for the lower rating freebies or old players about to retire to avoid bidding against others and get on as early as possible after the 3am update.

You MUST have a 90/100 coach otherwise you're doomed!

Deckchairs - stadium 68000 and growing - 100000 by mid season.

I have only ever got free transfers, got some younger players i'm training up but only play when there is an injury crisis and some excellent 35-6 year olds. Only have an 80/100 coach have never seen any better although I have 90/100 physio and groundsman so injuries are rarer and I always have a perfect playing surface!

i've got a few young Right midfielders - very low ratings but you can train one up if you want. Let me know if you are interested and i'll put one on the market for you and accept your offer.

Thanks for your advice.

Yeah definitely do that Rob. Well up for it.

I'm getting offers rejected left, right and centre now.

Furthermore I've slipped to 7th in the table as I don't have enough players in my squad. Injuries and suspensions have left me with 4 players playing out of position and just one sub left on the bench.

I'm getting desperate.

The badger valley stadium will hold 30,000 spectators by the end of the season. How am I to entertain them if I've got no sodding players?

The worst thing is that some of the players I do have are absolutely outstanding but they're getting knackered all the time because I have nobody to replace them with when they're rested.

My two strikers are probably the best in the division but there's no f***ing squad around them.

GRRRRR

Gimme your unwanted players. PLEASE

If you can try and buy the players who's ratings are 1 - 5 and train them up. I brought a player with skill rating of 2 and is now worth £10M after just two seasons.

I got rejected on about 20 transfer offers for the new young players this season but just managed to get a 22 year old CF for a couple of mill.

The others are right, go for the older players, even if they only last a couple of seasons.

Almost have to everytime offer car, house and bonus + fee+30% to get anywhere.

If your cash strapped have you used all your loans?

I'm top of div 8 with one of the worst and smallest (22) squads in the division, its a funny old game.

Loans?? You can get loans?

How does that work then? Are they risky?

I've got about £3mill in the bank but I really need to spend all of it on players. Even the 33 year olds cost £400k odd each.

Normal Rob, cheers I appreciate your help. Can't log on from work so I'll pick it up when I get home tonight

You can take a loan out if you are desperate for the cash but think they are pretty high interest. You can still get 50-60 rated 35 year olds for free, given up bidding for players as I always get out-bid.

BTW, anyone got a goalkeeper they would be willing to sell, one of mine is getting on a bit and I need to train one up.

What is the best way to train up your players?

I can only play a player for 3 consecutive games and his condition goes down to 40!

Any advice?

rotate the players! as soon as one of my players hits condition 80, i'll change player.

I find emailing the person and asking the person helps. As everyone can offer only 30% above the initial price so its pot luck who they choose. But if you have some kind of friendshio they will sell to you. Also the transfer forum is pretty good.
