...welcome back to the Championship, Charlton.

They're MILES clear now after a season with a better record than us last season. They won with a stoppage time winner at Bournemouth and none of the chasing 3 teams seems to want promotion themselves. Sheff Utd blew a two goal league at home and lost 3-2. Huddersfield were as bad, they were 3-0 up at Bury and drew 3-3, while Sheff Wed drew 0-0 at the league's second from bottom team.

All good. We always take loads to Charlton.

It'll be good to have Chalrton back on the fixture list. Good fans, excellent ground, top trip all round.

Ooh look, that RHYMED.

Really pleased for Chris Powell. Always struc me as a top pro and good to see a young, black, English manager being successful and given a chance

Yep, one of the best away ends in terms of creating atmosphere with the low roof. Palace will be pleased at having to play us, Millwall and Charlton

It will be nice to swap Pompey for Charlton, similar distances from Brighton but one far more appealing than the other.

But even if we do, we only have a 1 in 4 chance of promotion. I'd say auto has now gone completely and our promotion hopes are about 1 in 7, realistically. So an 85% chance of playing Charlton next season...

Assuming we both are in the Championship next season we can give them ANOTHER lesson in how to play football WITH a football

It is a great away day though. A few post-match pints in the Meantime pub and then full-tilt in Katzenjammer!!!!!

Great away trip but I also like the way they've conducted themselves this season. Similar to us last year, they've been up there pretty much from the start but haven't seemed to gloat that much. For a club that was recently in the Premiership, they probably realise that getting promotion from League 1 is a case of getting the club back to where it belongs. Rather than shouting from the rooftops like our friends down the road.

Don't be a dickhead. You're a good poster generally. No need.

I love going to the Valley, so providing we don't shock everyone in the playoffs, a top day/evening out there.

confused?

See various England threads. I made a perfectly valid (and correct) point about how well we played against Spain and he seems to be following me around trying to bait me with it for some strange reason.

Peace brother. I was just trying to amuse you, not pick a fight.
