And I think you're giving players a little too much credit there. Remember that total BENNY who was with Palace a few years back? I think he was called Ashley-Paul Robinson. He put on some social networking site (Facebook??) that he was off for a trial with Charlton. Without Palace's knowledge. Last I heard of him, he was playing at a very crap non-league level, something like Hastings Town, without looking it up.
