..because Iran have just called a halt to snap nuclear inspections.

Iran Stops Inspections

The last time a Middle Eastern country did this, can we remember how it ended up?

Operation Persian Freedom, here I come. Bastards.

Oh dear God! That is terrible news.

I wish the Americans would take note though. You can't blame the middle eastern countries for not wanting to disarm and halt production, when America never cease.

Just seeing it from their point of view, as well.

About time I strated to conduct research into oil extraction in highly radioactive environments.

Fortunately, given the quality of physicists and engineers from Iran I think we can look forward to more of a Chernobyl type occurence.

And GW (via Condoleeza Rice) says that the world has sent a clear message to Iran that it will not tolerate Iran's path to nuclear capabilty.

Laydeez and Gentz, choose your sides, because we all know what happens next. The Allies (Bush and Bliar) against I-ran and the Axis of Evil (read Muslims).

But Tony dictator Blair took us into an illegal war. Iraq isn't about democracy, it's about bloody oil. If it is about democracy then why doesn't dictator Blair invade Zimbabwe where he’s killing more than Sadam? The reason, NO OIL!!

I've just been on a conference in Miami, and a former board member did an hour speech on world affairs. It was Wesley Clark - the most honoured military man in the US since Rosevelt, and former Presidential candidate. He was talking about some potential worries in the world. He said that there's at least a 30% chance that the US will hit Iran in the next 4 months. Something to do with weather conditions in the region. He also half-joked that a third of women in bhurka's (sp?) in Iran are actually Mossad agents!

He also suggested Russia are a huge worry. China are not, but Russia are heading away from democracy & may well strike against Georgia etc to get the power back that the Soviets used to happen.

It was a really interesting speech by him.

I am not sure whether the US would risk a military operation in Iran whilst Iraq is so unstable. If they did it would turn the region into a bigger blood bath than it already is.

Tony and George W have a list of countries to annihilate in the "crusade against terror" , next on the list is Iran followed by North Korea.
