It's here again:

I've had a soft spot for the Whitecaps since I have family in Vancouver and they sent a representative to Withdean before they were MLS and wanted to build a new stadium.

?? I hope they didn't base the design on Withdean.

Sounders for me too! Despite the result I had a great night out - starting with the March to the Match. Things were helped by ending up, quite accidentally, in the slightly covered part of the stadium too so we could boo Galaxy in the dry!
Here's some pictures. I mean you wouldn't expect me to go all that way without a camera, would you? ;)

Vankleek Hill, actually....
In the past, Toronto have taken 2,000 to Columbus and NY and Washington frequently saw 500-1,000 travelling. This has intensified with the addition of Philadelphia who travel and accepted 500-1,000 away supporters from Washington and NY last season.

Currently Toronto (TFC) see Columbus Crew as their local(?) rivals. A 900 mile round trip for the TFC away following which is amazing considering how shit they've been since their arrival into the MLS in 2007. With Montreal joining the roster next season, it'll only be a 700 mile round trip and with rivalry between Toronto and Montreal already intensified through the Leafs and the Habs in the hockey, it should be a good away game. I'm certainly looking forward next year to a weekend in Montreal.

What really impressed me tonight was the number of Seattle Sounders fans who had made their way to New York. That’s a 2,400 mile schlep to play the Red Bulls, makes our away trips to Carlisle and Hartlepool look like a walk in the park.

Final score 1-0 to the Red Bulls, should have been 2-0 but Henry screwed up a Red Bulls penalty in the 9th minute. Kasey Keller had a great game for Seattle.

New York looked good, very comfortable knocking the ball around. Seattle need to work on shooting/finishing. We always try and make one extra fancy pass at the end instead of just blasting it. Oh well, Houston next week.

Saw bits and pieces of the TFC match today but havent got to watch it fully just yet, though I do have it recorded for later. I am dissapointed in the result but not overally surprised as it was ment to be really. New club, first match at home etc etc. Ah well. From the sounds of it once I watch them atch tomorrow I will be very dissapointed. Its a toronto curse I tell ya.

Quite a few MLS followers on here then. Looking forward to bouncing this through the summer. Oh and I'll take a 1-0 win over Seattle any day.
